Olympic National Park Backpacking Trip

Olympic National Park trail

The 50+ mile, 6-day hike was in the Southwest portion of the park on the North Fork Quinault River Trail and the Skyline Primitive Trail. These trails took us through 3 separate ecosystems (see ONP website links below.) Our trail elevations ranged from 600 ft. to over 5,000 ft. above sea level. From the high pass to Lake Beauty we were able to view the western boundary of the park (and the Pacific Ocean) and the eastern boundary of the park. ONP is the largest national park in the United States.
